The meeting was held in the form of an interactive workshop, which was organized by Roma Initiatives Office (RIO) under Roma Integration 2020 (RI2020).

This workshop was based on the European Union Enlargement Strategy and Progress Reports of 2019 with regard to priorities and needs in each country for Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities. During the workshop, the teams reflected critically on what has been done in the past two years about advocacy towards the European Union elargment process, activities to mobilize communities and use budget and election cycles in their advocacy campaigns.
